The Volkswagen ID.4 all-electric crossover has been in huge demand since the day it was announced. In fact, it was one of the best-selling models for Volkswagen in 2021, after the VW Atlas and VW Tiguan,  having sold nearly 17,000 units despite the very limited availability. Volkswagen still has more than 40,000 registrations and pre-bookings. For all those on the waitlist, the wait may finally be over very soon because later this year, the ID.4 will be manufactured in the US at Volkswagen’s Chattanooga, TN plant.
