Windy Fest

It’s only the second annual Windy Fest, but they are off to a great start. With over twenty performers and DJs including Bianca Shaw and DJ Mile High, it’s a party you won’t forget. In addition to the music there will be games, a gallery walk, and a vendor fair. All proceeds benefit Art of Culture Inc.

Jazz Festival

Location: Millennium Park

The Jazz Festival has been an ongoing event in Chicago for over 40 years. It’s always a good time and this year will be no different. On Thursday, the event will start at the Chicago Cultural Center, but in the evening,  it will shift to Millennium Park where it will stay over the weekend.

Technically this is part of Septemberfest, but we thought we would break it out because some of you may just be interested in seeing the parade. This is a huge affair and with a two-mile-long route, you can expect to get about two hours of parade time Labor Day morning!
