Performance

The 2024 Atlas has a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine across its trim levels. This 269-horsepower engine links to an eight-speed auto transmission. The first two trim levels have front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The remaining trims and the new Peak Edition have standard all-wheel drive. The Atlas Cross Sport has the same powertrain, transmission, and drivetrain options as the Atlas.

Appearance

The Atlas has a standout look with a tall cabin and a pinstripe accent that runs across the sides, flaring above the fenders. The fenders are subtly defined, and the lower door panels have a metallic ledge. At the front, metallic trim lines the triangular air vents and bumper. The grille’s wide shape is enhanced by a pair of accent bars that run from side to side to link the LED-outlined headlights. The Atlas Cross Sport is 5.2 inches smaller than the Atlas in length, and it stands two inches shorter. In addition, it boasts a strongly tapered rear while showing off the Atlas SUV’s personality in profile. At the front, the grille is larger with a widely spaced, U-style mesh pattern. The short fascia has a layered look. The headlights are comparable to the Atlas SUV’s headlights.
