The Tiguan boasts 59 cubic feet of cargo volume with the seats folded down and 27 cubic feet with all seats in place. The Atlas offers up to 97 cubic feet with all seats folded, 56 cubic feet with the second row in place, and 21 cubic feet behind the third row.

It’s worth noting that the VW Atlas in 2025 offers less seating than the 2024 models. Tiguan was available with an optional third row until the 2025 refresh. Changes to the VW Atlas 2025 vs 2024 are minimal, as the Atlas had a large-scale redesign in 2024.
